Fuel pump issues?

So i bought a walbro 255 for my car because i thought the other fuel pump went out. I installed the fuel pump and put everything back together tried to crank the car after priming and nothing. I tried to diagnos the problem and used a 9v battery to see that my old fuel pump still worked it was just not working in the car.

So I'm looking for relays for my car. I don't know which one to replace because there is one that say fuel pump relay but when i looked online it showed that the fuel pump relay was some where else.

What relays do i replace? And does that sound like it really might be the problem???

sorry for the long post thanks in advance

1st check the fuel pump fuse (near drivers left leg) then check the green and yellow relays (relay box next to the battery)

did you reverse the wires leading to the fuel pump? go back and check, I know this by experience...lol. The thicker wire is ground and the thinner wire is power.

No offense to anyone but to this day i just don't understand why people purchase walbro fuel pumps. Just hold a walbro and a supra pump both in your hands and you can clearly see the difference between quality and cheap.

The actual "fuel pump" relay, is in the relay box that's next to the air intake. You have to remove the big plastic that flows air into the IC to get to it. The other 2 relays (green/yellow) in the box next to the diag. port are also to control the fuel pump. So you would pretty much have to check all 3.

The easy thing is that you can swap any of those relays to test which ones are working, they're interchangeable even though they have different color tops. So first try just swapping the (green/yellow) ones and go from there.

If you need to replace one I would try just asking someone parting out their cars in the for sale section

Update I talked to Petit and they told me on the Diagnostic port under the hood to bridge the f/p (fuel pump) and the gnd (ground). So I did that and it sent power to the clip on my fuel pump. Does that mean I just need to replace the circuit relay?

need help!!!

I have a 96 JDM FD. My fuel pumped stopped working on my car while I was driving. I have tried to narrow down the problem. I have talked to Petit Racing and they told me in the diagnostics connection under the hood to connect the gnd (ground) and the f/p (fuel pump) together with a paper clip. I did this and my fuel pump came on, which i think means that all my relays are good (correct me if I'm wrong). I have a stereo but i looked for connections by my ignition switch that could have damaged wires and found none. My car has a PFC installed if that matters.

I'm at a loss and any help would be greatly appreciated.
