Fuel Pump Install With Pictures? Please.

RX7Club,
I ran all the searches, but I wasn't able to come up with any basic pics of what I am going to be looking at when I get inside there and start pulling the pump out. I guess I have been a little spoiled with DIY sites like clubrx.org (thanks Dale), but I much prefer pictures and a write up over just the written part. Can someone please reference a link detailing the install with pictures. Thanks!
-Jake

If you are mechanically inclined enough to change the fuel pump, then just start tearing into it. It is probably the easiest part on the car to change. Remove the galvanized cover under the trunk carpet and it will be self explanatory.

I'm the guy who will screw it up if it's not spelled out to me. Hahaha. I just want to be careful and not break something stupid and little (yet expensive to fix) while installing it. I am notorious for doing just that.

It's really self explanatory once you get the access cover off. I'd spray the bolts with pb blaster and let them soak before removal. They're going to be VERY RUSTY! Just take your time and don't over torque in the removal or installation...

did my fuel pump today, just got to say NOT AS EASY as it sounds. It is self explanitory, and i already had seen it taken out on someone elses car, but no one said anything about a plastic piece and a O-Ring that goes over the nipple of the fuel pump. i ended up breaking it since the o-ring didnt want to go back in. Had to take a chance and try without it and only the o - ring because i was not going to leave my car outside, lucky it started. now i dont want to drive it since im not sure if its safe + i have a coolent seal going

quick write up - unscrew everything you see, and unplug all the hoses and pull it out - reverse procedure to reinstall - done

My pump is in a bunch of pieces! Hahaha. This is how it came to me new. The instructions in the link above just call for removal of old pump and dropping in the new pump. The labor is more comprehensive than the thread would make me believe.

I also installed a Denso. You don't need the "extra parts"
