Fuel pump and catback?

Is there any problems with running a fuel pump with just a catbackand dp? I'm going to replace my pump and I figured I might as well upgrade. I'm running stock boost and just the dp and cb. Is there be any negative things that can happen besides poor gas milage?

Nah, youll be fine. your gas mileage shouldnt even change noticeably. Your pump control how much fuel gets there and your injectors control how much fuel gets used.

Just upgrade with a higher flowing Denso pump (Supra, Cosmo RP Competition, etc). It will be perfectly fine with no noticeable changes to anything.

Listen to Barban and Rynberg. The bonus is if you upgrade your fuel pump now, you'll be setup already for future fuel upgrades.

Actually, that depends on the pump. Most drop-in replacements are ok. However, it is possible to get a fuel pump which can outdrive the stock FPR; thus sending too much fuel.

The walbro is the one not to use if you have a stock FPR. The Supra pump will work nicely and have a nice long service life.
