Did a search for awhile, maybe just didn't look hard enough but maybe someone can just give me some quick advice...

I'll be receiving my 1600 secondaries, fuel rail, fpr, etc. tomorrow. I already have a modified primary rail with 850's installed and i'm also running an RP Competition fuel pump. I am going to be installing this setup this weekend to get the car to run, just need it to run decent enough to get it to the shop next week to install my single turbo, fmic, etc. What should I set the fuel pressure to after the install to just get the car running decent enough to put about 20 miles on it... After I get the turbo installed and what not, I will not run the car until I get it tuned by a knowledgeable tuner...

Any help is greatly appreciated...

You should just set it up to maintain approximate stock pressure -- 38 psi at 0 vacuum (NOT idle!).

So basically I'd rev the car to 0 vacuum and set the pressure to 38 psi?

You would jump the fuel pump at the diagnostics box, then set the fuel pressure, while the car is NOT running. You will have to make changes to the PFC in the injector screens to get it to run. If you do not have a datalogit you will not be able to increase the secondaries past 1500

Couldn't you just turn the key to "ON" without cranking it?

I have datalogit and pfc...what do you mean jump the fuel pump at the diagnostics box? Sorry I am learning about the fuel system as I go along, so excuse me if I am not very educated about this...

Start the car and warm up . At idle disconnect the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and plug the line . .Now set the fuel pressure to what you want . I set them at 40 psi with big injestors . Now reconnect the vacuum line and the pressure will drop at idle . The pressure will read 40 at zero vacuum and go up as the boost goes up .

it will run for a split second to prime the system.... lol. but it wont have the effect you need! i just wanted to be a smart ***... garco motorworks said a great way to do it!!!

Thanks guys for the help, fuel system is coming in this morning as soon as UPS gets here, then I'll be headed over to get this installed... Appreciate all the tips!!
