Fuel Odor
This only happens to me after a long drive home in 85+ weather with a/c on. When i park in my garage i smell a slight fuel odor. Also every time i remove my gas cap its under a lot of pressure. Any ideas
It is normal for the gas cap to be under pressure. Check the fuel pulsation damper and the tops of the injectors. They are common causes of leaks. Don't drive the car untillyou find the problem or you risk a fire.
If the smell comes from the engine bay it's definitely a serious issue and you should not drive the car. If the gas smell is strongest in the driver-side rear wheelwell, it's probably the charcoal canister which at least isn't going to start a fire, though you may not pass emissions. Mine is saturated, and I only get the gas smell in the garage after getting the car very hot, i.e. running it a while in slow/stop-n-go traffic on a hot day 80F+. Still test for leaks by grounding the F/P diagnostic terminal while the car is off and up on stands and look for leaks around the source of the smell.

If your engine bay is fine but the fuel smell is strongest near the drivers side rear wheel well you may need to replace your charcoal cannister which is located above the drivers side rear differential.
