Fuel Gauge not working, Need help

I just upgraded my stock fuel pump to a supra pump. Everything is back together, and the car is running, but my fuel gauge appears to be screwed up. I double checked the wiring and the hardware and everything looks good. Any ideas.

The float in the gas tank controls the fuel gauge. If the float is stuck down or the wiring for it isn't connected up well, your fuel gauge won't work.

If for whatever reason you totally boogered up the fuel float, that assembly isn't too terribly pricey new from Mazda, FYI.

It's most likely something simple, pull it back out and go over things.

I saw your other thread - is the sender a new or used unit? It might be a bad sender.

Get the shop manual out and go through the tests for the sender.
