fuel gauge not working

hi my fuel gauge is not working so i started to pull out my
fuel sender an fuel pump, but before i get to that bit wot do i actually hav to
take off? do u have 2 disconect the 2 fuel hose that are goin thru the hatch
for the hatch 2 actually come out or jst pull it out?

Disconnect the two hoses that go onto the nipples on top of the fuel tank. The other 2 you can just remove the 10mm bolts and push them aside. Then unscrew the small philips screws holding the cover on. They are really easy to strip so you may want to use penetrating oil and an impact screwdriver (the kind you tap with a hammer) Most likely the float fell off the sender and is floating around in the tank.

was the connector connected (at fuel pump at the rear?) Mine didnt work either, however there was a connector unconnected. That solved my problem.

is there an easyway to get the fuel hose of the nibble it is really hard to try an pull of.
it wont even budge at all, any helpful tips will be appreciated very much.
