fuel filter

i recently got a new motor in my car. i got it about three years ago and was saving for a new motor. well i asked to mechanic to put a new fuel filter in and when he went to do so he discovered that the previous owner decided to pipe the fuel line without on rather then replace it. so i need some good pics of where it goes and what brackets i need so i can pipe it in. i have the workshop manual but the pics are not that detaled.
thanks

The stock location is atrocious. Relocate it instead. However if the fuel filter brackets are missing then you may need to go aftermarket or replace those brackets as well.

yep^ did mine like that but used a different filter. getting the stock one off is great , nothing like getting fuel all over your chest while laying on your back. good luck
