fuel delivery problems when car is on a hill

When my FD is parked on a hill with a low fuel level, my pump gets noticeably louder, the idle becomes inconsistent, and it feels like its fuel starving(but the AFR is still good). However, if I park on flat ground, everything returns to normal. I pulled the fuel pump to inspect it, and it's surprisingly clean and looks fairly new. I know the easy solution is just keeping the tank full, but I'd really like to identify the root cause. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any insights into what might be going on?

Stock fuel pump or have you upgraded it?
If it's an aftermarket pump, the pickup height might have shifted from the factory location.

its aftermarket and it took me a bit to realize when they installed it they used zipties to secure the the fuel line on the hanger rather than hose clamps lol

Always good to bounce some ideas off others to get the brain moving. Nothing wrong with that.
