Fuel cut symptoms at 8 psi
Hey guys. I posted this in the Microtech ecu forum, but I think it may not be related to the ecu so I'll post here too. I'm stumped trying to figure out what just feels like fuel cut symptoms.
If I'm WOT, car revs fine up until load is about 8 psi then the afr spikes up for no apparent reason as if there was some sort of fuel or boost cut.
The car has microtech LT-10s ecu, single BorgWarner T3 turbo, aeromotive fuel pump and fpr, 4x 550cc secondary injectors, cant tell what size the primaries are.
Car starts, idles, revs great.
In neutral the car will rev happily to redline.
Under light throttle, the same will happen.
However under heavy throttle, hitting 8 psi regardless of speed, will cause the problem.
My load map is smooth through the entire RPM range, I tried spiking fuel incrementally while driving, but it made no apparent change. Change the load map is not fixing this.
Is it grounds?
Is it my injectors?
Is it my fuel pump?
A leak?
Previous owner said it was running 18 psi.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Matrix mode allows tuning for the actual load/boost for each rpm. I never tune cars in normal mode, beyond idle and throttle tip in.
You are basically tuning idle and 4000rpm only in normal mode, then you have to make wholesale changes to the load map with just the cruise and wot tables. Terrible way to tune.
In neutral you are not seeing 8psi of positive pressure, but you could test your secondaries by moving the transition into vacuum, like 04 hg, which you can achieve easily in neutral.
Did you check the boost cut setting?
If you still have the problems, then you probably have something wired incorrectly. Can't tell you how many microtechs I have had to rewire
