Fuel Catch Tank Placement

Does anyone know where the fuel catch tank secures to? I'm talking about the little black cylinder shaped tank that connects to the purge control solenoid, goes around the oil filler neck and the connects to a fuel line hard-pipe below the throttle body and intake elbow. It has 2 holes in it that look like they should be secured to something, but I can't figure out where. TIA.

JR,

The catch tank gets attached to the bottom bolts where the elbow gets secured to the Thottle body...Hope this helps

Yep....thats where it goes, on the two bolts under the elbow. Your elbow couldn't have been tight if you you left it off. I think the nuts would have bottomed out on the studs before the elbow got tight....not positive on this but I think they would.
