I wasn't discrediting corkey bell I know who he is and obviously his opinion means something. The point I was trying to come across is that every respected tuner out there has his own tuning philosophy as to how a car should be set up. Just because Corkey Bell happened to agree with your SMIC doesn't mean that he is an ends to your argument. Too bad you were too short sighted to see that. And by bringing race into this matter is purely childish.

Here are some facts:

1. PFS had a large SMIC on his car back in 94 on his IMSA race car which has the exact same dimensions as your ASP large. I had the kit on my car and it had a fiberglass duct and the piping to go with it

2. Kevin Wyum used to be Peter's customer

3. I believe the ASP intercoolers started to sell back in 99 or 2000 someone correct me if i'm wrong

It's not hard to put 2 and 2 together. No matter what you say you are trying to push your stupid intercooler, look at all your posts genius. Never once in this whole thread have you even stuck to the original topic regarding FMIC's and it's not surprising considering you probably never used one. You really need to stop jumping into every single intercooler thread Kevin. While your design may have been ok at one point, there is clearly better stuff out in the market now.

It's like Dan Rather saying, "I know these documents are real, I won't tell you where I got them but they're the real thing, I have no doubt in my mind so you better trust me."

So now you're suggesting Corky Bell doesn't know what he's talking about? Maybe if we called him Corky Bell-san he would gain some eastern mystic powers that would give him divine guidance. Grow up. When it comes to turbocharging the Japanese are no better than anyone else. Maybe you're asian and it's some kind of racist thing you have against white people. Whatever it is it's clearly not rational.

As to your fruitloop Kerry'esqe hail Mary that I copied my large IC from Peter. Peter isn't exactly the quiet reserved type of person that's going to shut up about something like that if it had happened. He and I had our differences back in the day but nobody with any credibility has ever supported your conspiracy theory. I never made a stink about it because he never actively appeared to market it and he didn't ask me to borrow the duct and tubing for a few weeks so he could copy it like Pettit. I had only heard of him making 3 or 4, if that, and those were kept pretty quiet so it wasn't a big deal. Nice try fruit loop. Go get someone else to "own" me. You probably didn't have a drivers license yet but back at the time I first started making the IC's on a large scale PFS & Co. (mainly the co.) and I were having pretty active flames on the big list as any old timers here can attest to. If something like you claimed were true I know damn well, as well as anyone else that was on the big list back then, they would never have stopped talking about it. I did actually get a few emails from people telling me after he had shown his first one to a few "inner circle" people that it looked almost the same as mine.

Okay so you've typed about 2 pages of vile filthy insults in this thread and your link and I still have yet to try and push my intercoolers. You're a whack job, go back to the hood or your "crew" and watch the Fast & Furry a few more times or put some more body kits and stickers on your car. Maybe we'll call you 1FookinTiteFD-san or something then you'll know what you're talking about.

Stop while you're only this far behind.

Speedworks, a VMIC is probably the best overall setup. It allows air to go directly to both the radiator and IC. I think the reason most people overlook this setup is simply because of the cost. A good FMIC or SMIC are in similar price ranges and will run anywhere between $900-$1500 while a VMIC will run over $2000. Granted it comes with a radiator it still is a cost many people don't want to throw down at once.

A local race team has bought Petitt's GTC race car (FMIC) and have been obliged to turn to V mOunt which solved all their overheating problems.

I'm as well thinking about change my IC set up and Vmount is for me the way to go.
Why do people avoid this possibility?Because there are less parts/products avalailable? too much custom work etc?

IMOH it's the best solition both IC and radiator receive fresh air (proper ducting)
hot air is being send away separately and most important away from the engine/turbo's

It won't give you that "bling" towards the others, but when I look at rebuilding costs and the time my car will have to be stored in the garage doing nothing because of engine overheating/failure, I know what to chose

Well considering 2 of your 3 facts are wrong to begin with it might be a big leap to assume you're capable of putting two and two together, despite how easy you thought it would be. (smirk) Aren't you the same clown that ran about screaming the ducts were exactly the same? After it was demonstrated that you had simply lied and made it up you went into a funk and said, "well they're almost the same."

Like I mentioned above, you're obviously a very angry young man with some axe to grind. Your willingness to lie and make things up as you go is a little disappointing but not entirely unexpected considering use of the name (1FookinTiteFD That ****'ll fockuup) and a refusal to identify yourself as anything other than some random person named Victor. I also thought it was funny how you feigned acknowledgement of Corky Bell but then went right back to preaching your opinion as if you're someone that knows better than him, Victor with no last name.

This is pretty funny. Thanks for the Corky info btw. His opinion is definitely one to respect relative to most of the trash you see on the web from kids stating things as fact. That statement alone could probably quadruple the sales of my IC's if I was really looking to build them frequently.

Found those posts where you just made things up before, it was you : ).

All in the same thread, one post apart both from you.

"I don't know the details of this but the PFS race intercooler is the exact same size and dimension of your ASP large. Hell, even the duct is exactly the same..."

Okay so according to you the duct is exactly the same. Oh look 1 1/2 hours later you posted this.

"Hm, maybe Peter's duct isn't the same, but it's a similar design. The intercooler core however is the exact same size. The endtanks and core is different though. I compared it with the M2 large and have seen that there are a lot of similarities to it."

You did yourself proud here. Sheesh what a case.

Blah blah blah, whatever kevin, you know you copied that design. Same basic concept as mentioned apreviously. You always give chuck **** but look at you with your holier than thou ****.

The point I was trying to come across with the corky bell thing was that every tuner has a different approach to the set up of cars. You chose to agree with corky and use him as an example because it is convenient that he found your intercoolers adequate. Of course you would use his example as a means to an end and discredit all the other tuners out there (RE amemiya, FEED, pan speed, XS, etc...) solely on the basis that they believe a FMIC is better. You even go so far as to factor in race as a consideration assessing that my ethnicity makes me partial to those tuners.

You keep saying that I'm an "angry young man with an axe to grind" when you were the one to openly attack my character when I have done nothing of the sort towards you prior to this thread. You assume that since I have an unorthodox forum name that I am ghetto when in fact I am probably even more intelligent and educated than most forum members on this board. However the fact of the matter is, I owned both SMIC and FMIC's and have only stated my experiences with them and like everyone who disagrees with you or your product you take it personally and simply bash them on a personal level. Your level of immaturity for your age is awe-inspiring and leaves me to question your level of expertise.

you keep saying i have an axe to grind. Seriously though, what's your problem? What is my alleged agenda against you if you feel that I have one?

Scroll up, I've just shown with your own posts that you're prone to making things up, (a nice way of saying lie), this is the point where I ignore anything further that you have to say. What kind of halfwit is going to argue with someone that just makes things up as they go and has admitted to doing so? Not this one. I am the all knowing Wyum-san! heh.
