a transfer on your front bumper identical to your numberplates dimensions and color.

inside your front windscreen on the dash, although could end up through your head in a crash.

Mine is actually right in the middle or the front vent but it is leaned back on such an angle you can still see it (front on) and it acts like an " air ramp" up into my bay which is great for me cause I have flat-mount IC.

I've seen some where the lower edge of the plate is flush with the bottom of the R1 air dam. Others mount it more to the side by the empty spot of the R1 oil cooler. I do not have a front plate and have paid a ticket.

Just buy the OEM plate holder. Bolts on underneath and won't mess up the bumper. Inside on the dash is stupid and illegal. Stupid because it will take your head off, illegal because it can't be there.

I bought 2 "L" Brackets from the HW Store and found these "license plate" screws w/ plastic achors that fit perfectly into the two holes on the underside of the bumper nose hole opening. ($4)

lol spekdah, I'm gonna use that if I get pulled over after I get my GTC front end on with no front plate. I live within a mile of Kansas where no front plate is needed too, it makes it even worse.

Look who's talking. According to your profile (chain-smoker, no life, no job), you sound like a real winner to me.

wow wow settle kiddies

yeh i did the no license plate thing too

but theres a new kit that i say that mounts on the mouth of the bumper (upper part)

that lets the plate visible while in moving its tilts and does not block the aifflow to fmic or rad

how about on the left in between the right oil cooler duct and the mouth of the bumper

i just dont wanna drill my nice bumber just yet

mike

A friend of mine superglued two really strong magnets in the back of his bumper and the license plate stuck very well.. and if it didn't work he was planning on securing the plate to a sheet of metal then using the magnets... very easy to remove when cleaning your car or shows

Do what you want but do not put it in front of the main radiator air intake. My specilist was very strict on that. He say that these car needs air as much as we do and I totally agree. Luckily my changed bumper came with the bracket even if I hate it but the law is the law for me.
