I'm afraid to turn on the radio because the antenna might bust through...

Just kidding, they took out the whole assembly for the antenna and the wiper. You can mount a widow antenna very easily. I haven't done it yet because it isn't that important. All they play on the Italian stations is techno (not my type of music) and the DJs won't shut up They actually tax the radio here and the DJs purposely intrerupt every song to discourage people from taping them Some things are really different here.

I really don't care about radio because I'm going to get a Nakamichi MD-95z double-din six-disk changer + mini disk player. They're only for the Japanese market so I couldn't get the american frequencies anyway.

A good body shop should be able to color-match and shave whatever you want without having to paint the whole thing.

Thanks again for the compliments

I got those from black99 on e-bay a while back.

Thanks again Kevin...I still haven't given you +++ feedback for those...I'm a lazy bastard! I told you! Did you notice that I finally polished them? As for the car...at night it's almost midnight blue. But during the day the light has to hit it just right otherwise it looks black.

YayeR,
They're Sard intakes (JDM)...very cool. I had to be extremely creative with the mounting to get them to fit...they're designed to go with the stock intercooler, not a big-*** M2!

Not a big deal about the feedback, I have a ton anyways. I understand people are busy(or in your case lazy LOL) I originally got that intake from A-Spec a couple months ago, it's beautiful intake. Kinda crazy how it went through two people without ever being on either of their cars(neither A-Spec or me) That intake made if from Japan, to California, then to Pennsylvania, then to Italy. Yeah I noticed from the pics that you polished the intake pipes. It looks great and is definately a rare peice that you won't see everywhere. Are you bringing your FD back to the states?

That, my friend, is a silly, silly question. OF COURSE I'M BRINGING MY CAR BACK!!! Do you think I would leave it hear in the world of 89 octane gas forever? Shame on you

I have a picture on my computer at work of the Sards installed in another FD in Japan (how they're supposed to be)...I'll post it when I get a chance.

I just hope I can get replacement filters when the time comes.

I'm not sure about that. What you might want to do is either contact Jason(canman6969 on the forum) at www.jt-imports.com (via email as he doesn't accept PM's) or maybe contact someone else in Japan. You could of course contact A-Spec but I don't know if he could get them or not.

Nice job on the paint. It looks really clean. I would just take the hood liner off. I always thought they made the car look ugly. They really serve no purpose anyway. I took mine off about a year ago.

Enjoy the new paint

No...now that I think about it, it was 1760 euro so that's about $1772.00 or something. It's not like I control he funds...I have the wife do that

Fd3BOOST,
Will that hurt the hood from high heat? I would like to take it off but I don't want to bake my clear coat.

yeah it does serve a purpose it will keep the heat off of the hood so it doesn't mess up the paint like ianewk said. I just had a paint job on my car so I want one pretty badly. Since all of you just take it off of your car for fun can someone sell me one in good shape please?
My paint job looks awesome I don't want my clost to 200 degree engine temps effecting it for a while.

And btw ianewk I didn't say anything about the price of yours being good because I got a better deal!! Total color change and painting every part of the car that goes along with that. Shaving antenna and installing a new style front bumper that required almost 2 days to fit perfectly. BTW my car color is a 3 stage metallic paint with a pearl also...and I still beat your price by a lot....

That comment on the antenna is hilarious
The first time I pressed the power button on the radio I was expecting to hear a noise from the antenna trying to poke through the fender hahaha! even though I knew it had totally been taken out I still have this feeling every time I turn on the radio.

You can have anything shaved at any time but it is easier and cheaper to do it during a paint job since the car was going to be painted any way.
There is another antenna in the hatch thats why you can still get good reception on the radio after taking the fugly huge silver satelite out!!

gotta love the topless beaches in Europe ehh!?
nice car though man but I have first dibs on someones hood liner

My thread...I asked for a hood-liner first beeatch!!!

If you got a better deal then good on you! I just know what other people are paying for that amount of work in the states. What kind of favors are you giving in return to beat that price?

The beaches suck here! No waves. ***** are good and all, but that 21-year old vixen is pretty much negated by the 60 year-old Shamu.

striker,
Any body shop worth it's weight in salt should be able to color match your montego. Get with snook...he apparently has the hook-up!

Oh, and no...89 octane sucks ***!!! Cost me an engine last September. No choice though. Italy does have its downfalls.

Back to the states in January though. Even though it's Oklahoma.
