You would need a new paint job-$2k, New/Used door panels-$4-500.00, SPeakeers $100.00, Front Bumper-$200.00, AC Panel-$200.00, Rear Divider-$100.00, R1, front Lip-$116.00, and some other minor things. I saw it this morning on craigslist and considered it just because it is close. However, I am trying to work a couple other deals first.
Its not a bad deal by anymeans, mileage on chassis would make a big difference. FDs are only bringing between $9-13k in great shape at the moment.

We'll see what transpires.

Wow, I don't know where the seller of that car gets off calling it nice in the ad
100-120k is pretty average for FDs these days.
I can tell you that my FD project has been one of the most challenging things I've ever taken on, and I frequently want to sell it. You'll have to make sure you have the money for the car, money that you know it will cost to repair it, and money to repair the things that you don't know are broken.
If you have the cash, I'd definitely say jump on it.

looks like an easy fix. those body panels, as its been said, definitely need to go. $6,000 for minor cosmetic problems is not a bad deal. the hardest part, that i think, will be restoring the interior, getting the stock replacement parts.
Personally, I think the best part about the price of this "roller" is the simple fact it HAS a motor in it... Typically rollers are not accompanied by such yet the price is around the same.
If I didn't already buy my roller; I'd jump all over this.

That would be just an average nothing special paint job. Show quality will run you between $5-8k. You can actually get a decent paint job in this area starting around $1k if you know how to wet sand.
why's that? the body panels can come off and be replaced easily. you could build this car to your specifications while keeping the cost under the price of a good condition running FD. i agree that it looks horrendous right now, but definitely not something to overlook.

I definitely would get the compression checked, those numbers seem too high.
See if you can get it for 5500, doesnt seem like a bad project car at all.....

BEWARE!!! I saw that car on an auction site where i buy my repo cars and cars that have been writen off. That car has a salvage title and it was a stolen car i believe
stolen would explain why the interior was ripped to shreds. It looks like a good deal to me, it doesnt have any major damage from its appearance. the interior pieces could be bought/repaired for pretty cheap if you look around. some could even be fabricated if you have skills in that area. I agree about checking the compression, and hearing it run. As a person that does all my own work i don't think a project like that would be too bad. I would offer 5 and go from there, even though it says firm, money in hand has a way of changing things a bit. Plus u can always go back up to the asking price if he doesnt budge
