Found a FD convertible proto type car.

While I was looking for FD parts in some warehouse down south. I found this car. It used to be some show car. It is made from a FD3S. It is convertible. the front looks like a DB7. They try to redo the car. I guess the project was dropped. Would be interesting if it is finish. Here are some spy shoot. Owner did not want me to take pics. But I did it for you guys to see. Hehehehe...

I've seen at least 1 custom FD convertible, and I've heard of others. The car you saw is likely a custom job as well - I know Mazda never messed with something like that.

Dunno how effective the FD convertible conversion was - it's damn tricky to do that kind of work and keep the frame from flexing all over creation.

The only thing that resembles an FD is the door. Might be cool...

I think he is selling it, but not sure. He even got the original TRD MR2 race car. The wide kit is all made in metal. Thanks for fixing the pics. I took the pics in hurry! hehe...
