Its funny that you mention that, I was just thinking of something like that the other day.

Or how about, a easy off rim? You know like rims on mountin bikes and such that you could take off? Maybe have a system that would keep your car jacked up, but you could take the wheel with you? **** most of the good wheels are light enough anyway.

Even boots can be gotten around (Simpson's), only sure thing to higher a body guard to stand guard on your ride. either that or wire the gas tank to blow if the car is tampered with (Mad Max style). I'm out for blood, my Wife's Eclipse was spray painted the other night by some punks!

How about you rip out the engine everytime and chain all 4 wheels to a tree If somebody went threw 3 alarms and a Club i doubt any of these crazy ideas will stop somebody from stealing your car. it sucks but **** happens, sorry to hear about the loss.
Nick

(ps if they give you an option to buy your car back PM me, i'll buy it off of you and give you some extra $$ since you have the phatty style headlights)

Are you going to keep the headlights? I know this is a sensitive subject, but if you would like to get a different style, I might like to buy yours. Please don't take any offense though.

racing style center lug wheels. install an air tank and four racing jacks. pop it up, take off the wheels, steering wheel, stereo face, etc and put in your massive duffle bag. carry it all into the fancy resaurant you're taking this new fine girl to and check it in, lol.

couldn't resist sharing that mental picture. good luck on finding them. persecute the bastards. look at it on the bright side though. now you get to change things that you might have done differently before.

Sorry I will be rebuilding another FD and I already have the KS Blister Flare kit at the paint shop waiting for a car. I will be keeping as much as I can from my 1st FD (that sounds weird).

Is it possible to use one of the aftermarket aftermarket ECUs available to set base idle so low that the car wouldnt even start? I know that the Link ecu for miatas allows the user to set base idle at 0 rpm. Just change the seting and take the keypad with you.

Why not just get get a Auto theft Satelite tracking device. I'm sure it costs $$ for their monthly service but it should be worth it with all that you have invested in your FD. Have you ever looked into that?
