Are the following mods safe?
new engine/new turbos, not reman., both with 15k
hks downpipe
ntech hiflow cat
hks exhaust
apexi safc
apexi turbo timer
lsd
re amemiya intake
turbos converted to non sequential
wastegate resized to run higher boost
pettit a.s.t
motor was compression tested and showed well over 120 psi on all rotor faces. new spark plugs, fresh fuel filter, and oil change. oil changed every 2500 miles.
over 300rwhp.

The Above was from information on an FD for sale. He seems to have all the right mods to adjust to higher boost (Hopefully nothing crazy). What PSI do these mods "allow" safely? The thing I think is missing is fuel mods/injectors. Without that, what PSI should he be considering what IS done to it?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

With the stock fuel system, 12 psi is about the limit you can push without getting to above 95% injector duty, according to people more knowledgeable than myself.
I would be concerned about that car running the Apexi SAFC as opposed to a re-chipped or standalone ECU, especially with the non-seq twins. A new ECU may be one of the first things to consider if you do get it.
Otherwise the car sounds like it's headed in a good direction.

He mentioned that he wouldnt want to boost more because he wouldn't want to go over the 85% injector cycle, just as you mentioned.
Sounds like he *does* know what he's doing.
If/when I could pick up this car, I want to keep things right. Should a PowerFC be in the works to ensure this? As well, a nicely set boost gauge and afr...
a big important issue here also is cooler air, look into getting an aftermarket intercooler, then you would be set. If you don't want a different ecu, i'd get a boost controller to at least control spikes. You can run all those mods on a stock ecu, as long as you don't see any more than 12psi. Just again, make sure you get a different intercooler.
Also, if you wanted more reliability mods, i would get a fluidyne radiator. Sounds like a good car though, i'd get it.

So: Radiator/Intercooler
Boost Guage/Controller
AFR Guage
& PowerFC
Would be the wisest next few mods? Sounds good to me too. It's sounding like worth the buy because as much as I only wanted a "STOCK" Fd, the only modding I planned on doing was breaking the 13 second/ 300rwhp mark by up'ing the boost a bit. And this is such.

Yea ****** up a Power FC, I want one sooooooooo bad but ended up buying me a Pettit Unlimted ECU just so I can put on my mods, better safe than sorry huh? I now see a Power FC is worth ever penny that's why I am saving up for one now!

Do you have a quick estimate on Power FC pricing?
New/Used?
Is it something only a shop should install/tune? (I suppose so..)
