And even if you manage to do that, who from Rolls Royce owners is going to buy (stolen) second hand parts? Ppl who have RR, Ferraris, Lambos, etc can easily afford brand new parts and incredible maintenance costs. They are in fact NOT likely targets for organized theft rings. A dumbass wanting a joyride, yes.
Think about why the #1 stolen car in America is a Toyota Camry/Honda Accord. Cuz there's a MILLION of them, low profile, and an excellent second-hand parts market. RX7's definitely are not on the high end (ie too much trouble to steal), but they're def. not on the low end either. Also keep in mind that virtually any car that's considered in the sports car/import tuner category is a prime target because it's got a huge parts sale network. So RX7s, Supras, NSXs, IS300s, etc, you name it, are all likely targets.

Also, if someone has a "hot" car and lives in shitville where there are alot of "shady" activities they deserve to have their car get stolen.
Bottom line is get a good paying job that can afford a better neighborhood.
Don't try to "cheat" the class-system by buying a nice car and living in a questionable "hood".

They did not want to get next to me and they tried to dip behind a building but I caught them and blocked them off. I stared into their car for a while so they could see me very clearly. Then I got behind them and got their tag. They hauled *** back the way they came from.
Well good luck guys and be careful.

The rims+tire combos on some of these cars around me are worth more then my entire FD is alone!
just get good insurnace and use common sense
just get good insurnace and use common sense
so hence a 7 would get jacked first than a benz.. jackers nowadays would actually be scared of stealing those highend cars rather than our 7's since it has less "gismo technology"
Lojack can be easily hacked and most real theives use flat beds. Takes 45 seconds to pull a car up on to a trailer. Best bet is to keep the car indoors at night and always keep theft protection on your insurance, even if you don't have comprehensive.

1) Lojack can only be hacked if they KNOW you have it. Hence, this goes back to my earlier statement: DON'T ADVERTISE WHAT YOU HAVE.
2) Contrary to popular belief, Lo-Jack does not require the vehicle to be armed, disarmed, running, started by key blah blah. It operates based on motion sensors. If the motion sensors are tripped consistantly for a few min, and the transponder isn't there, the alarm is activated. So if you raise a car to tow it, or even while it's on the tow truck, the motion sensors will kick in, and it'll give you an alarm (I had a nice little convo w/ the LoJack rep I ran into at the local stealership).
