Don't forget to do something about the ecu if you decide to swap out the IC. PFC will smarten it right up. Get some hard pipes too while you're at it and change out some of those vacumm lines.

i ran the apexi FMIC and stock radiator for two years, with no problems. As long as you arent tracking the car, and you don't live in Texas, you should be fine, just buy a temp gauge and watch your coolant temps.

I run an HKS FMIC with the stock radiator using the relocation brackets provided in the kit. Have run the set-up for 2 yrs and the only time I had a problem was unrelated to that set-up (seized thermostat).

I have run FMIC with stock radiator(112,000 miles) for 3 years without temp issues, even at the track. Pay attention to proper baffling/ducting to get the most air that you can through both.

I ran the greddy FMIC all last summer, my temps only went up at slow speeds. My stock radiator developed a leak so I bought a koyo.

the egt should go pre-turbo. turbochargers take advantage of the heat energy that would be lost out the tail pipe. Because of that, putting an egt probe after the turbo is nearly worthless. You may need two probes.

I think howard coleman (sp) did a very complete egt install, if you have the time i would look it up.

Well, you can use a stock radiator but don't reuse the 13+ year old one if he's still on the original.

But for the money isn't a fluidyne or koyo actually cheaper than a new factory rad?

yes i got my koyo for 300*ebay* the stock one was 400+ and this one cools WAY better than stock since it is twice the size. but it still fits in the stock position and the a/c doesnt need to be removed.
