AFAIK, most people who have a greddy front mount leave the rebar off.

for all you guys that are having FMIC... do you have to change to aftermarket radiator before installing the FMIC? if you can keep the stock rad, how would the piping for the intercooler get to the front end???

It is not necissery to change to the aftermarket radiator before installing the FMIC. Althogh it will be advicable, save you the truble having to replace it in the future.
The pipe from the intercooler can be routed in many different ways. Some kits use the space on the side of the intercooler, some goes on top, some goes between radiator (stand up radiator)

I have the greddy 2 row and had to trim the stock bumper...to me it looks like it's so close it doesn't supply much flow...
Here's how much i had to TRIM the stock bumper.
Question for you guys who chose the Blitz FMIC:
...considering that the Greddy 2 Row I have is such a tight fit up front leads me to believe that the Blitz is much smaller if you can actually install it without removing the bumper and rebar...What is the PSI efficiencu of that FMIC? do you have photos of the Blitz FMIC compared to the Stock FMIC (I ask this because I know chances of the BLITZ FMIC and GREDDY FMIC side by side uninstalled in a single pic is unlikely)...If you have a pic of your BLITZ FMIC beside your stocker, post it would ya! I have mine to post later (if someone reminds me)

I don't have any pics of the size compared to stock but here are the measurements from the Blitz site:
19 1/4" x 11 1/4" x4"
It is a big intercooler, it's hard to describe how it fits, if you look where the top of the stock radiator mounts just behind the front bumper.. now imagine the IC top brackets there. That is where the IC mounts, then the top of the radiator is mounted just behind that, with the base of the radiator still mounted on the sway bar bracket area. So essentially the radiator angle is decreased by a few degrees, but it is definitely not close to vertical yet. I'll take some pics in a couple of weeks when I install some oil coolers..

1. That is one hell of a tight fit! Appleblue, you are right about that damned fit!
2. Because it mounts in front of the rebar, unlike the Blitz front mount, which Batmobile has, there is a hell of alot more room in the space between the alternator and the radiator to play with. You'll need to slice the battery tray no matter what, it seems. And with regard to the IC pipes, there is very little room to manuver the pipes. However, IC bracket fitment was a piece of cake.
Beware though if you will be upgrading the stock radiator to a thicker aluminum one like I did, the brackets and sway bar mounts do not apply. You'll need to get creative.

Yeah, I got the black brackets but it was a bitch to figure out how they mounted...thanks to NoCab's write up and great pics I figured it out...I had it all put together with the passenger side top rad bracket on wrong...when I oriented it properly everything came together nicely...however, it's so tight there's only about 5mm clearnance at some spots near the Airinx intakes...if that much...

I have the Apexi FMIC, it doesnt fill the mouth of the stock front end like the GReddy so it provides better flow to the radiator. I personally like the looks of the GReddy because its out there for everyone to see but it didnt look to provide enough airflow to the radiator, thats why I went with the Apexi and I am really satisfied with it.

Does the Apexi FMIC let you retain the OEM fog lights?
It looks like the radiator is smooshed up against the FMIC. Is there breathing room and can you keep the A/C?
Do you know if it uses the newer delta fin core?
