yeah, stock radiator sucks *** for cooling in this position....my temps are at 200-210 on the highway, and about 210-220 in the city

when i turn the car off they go to 240-250....my koyo arrives on tuesday (later today)

i bought everything from jason (www.rx7store.net) and I received everything just about next day...with the exception of the radiator, must be a hot item

jason's also getting me an HKS SS bov flanged welded onto a hardpipe, so I should have that in soon, right jason?

i'm thinking of getting the b&m short throw from jason like apneablue did

the lenses are smoked, i did it with "niteshades", i bought the can from 3sxperformance.com

my sidemarkers are also smoked, stock AST will be eliminated soon

the car pulls so hard from a roll now...especially when the temps outside are 50 or below

i ran a CBR600 from a roll, pulled on him so hard.....so very hard, he lost $100 that night
Dude, those temps are pretty high even for the stock rad...hmmmmm

I am currently running the stock rad too until I rebuild but I see temps (PFC) around 88°C - 92°C (190°F-197°F) on a 80°F day...This is with the fan mod running....Without the fans I have seen it go as high as 97°C / 207°F in around town wot runs but it comes back down pretty rapidly....Don't know if you have done the fan mod yet but if you haven't you might want to. Also running those higher temps you may want to swap out that AST before you do teh B&M shifter...

Either way, looking pretty hot dude!

Ditto on the radiator hose thing...SleepeR1 was telling me that Jason hooked him up with some Jegs Stainless Steel Radiator Flex hose...I called Jason up and he said for $50 he could get me the hoses...I would like to know what they look like...Would be cool if it was kind of a stainless steel braided line look...I check out www.Jegs.com and saw some but wasn't sure what it was I needed...Anyway, hopefully SleepeR1 can shed some light on this for us and possibly provide a pic.

Yeah, those temps are high. The last time I ran 250F, was when I was basically stock, with a coolant leak that occured while driving (this was after being at WOT for a while).

Right now, I have the mods in my sig, and I've never seen temps over 190F (fans on). With temps in the 50s, the car stays around 180-190F. 200 is extremely rare. When I get around to putting on the DP, I'll wait to see how the car reacts to the summer heat.

I don't have a recent pic, but the shiny stainless steel flexhose is blingin, and works very well too Jason and Zavier did a bang-up job installing all the stuff on my car. Again see my sig for mods.
