so many people on this forum are looking for new floor mats, Ebay sometimes has floormats. But make sure they are for our car not just the generic ones.

www.mazdatrix.com has aftermarket floor mats in black and tan. I just ordered some a few weeks ago and they fit great. $50 for the pair. However, they do not have the logo embroidered on them like the stock ones. A dealer told me they were no longer available from Mazda.

I got mine from pettitracing.com. They are more expensive than the mazdatrix ones, but have the embroidered RX-7 logo on them in different colors (mine are black mats with blue letters). They are selling them for $90.00 I believe.

I got some genuine Mazda ones from Mazdaformance.com recently. They were $70-ish.

I thought that's where I saw them

(Mazdaformance) but they took it off the websit like a month ago. Maybe they ran out and can't get anymore. You would think someone had a hookup for them from Japan. Wouldn't the Japanese dealers still sell them?

Does the Pettit or MazdaTrix have that hole on the drivers side that goes over that anti-slip hook thing.

yes just get the mazdatrix one! I hate the foam backing on the factory mats!! it is so messy.

yes jdm one would be cutout differently. If anyone has the mazda part number I can go check if they have it in Japan, in their warehouse, but I doubt it...

Both are no longer available from Mazda unless you happen to find a dealer with some laying around. You cannot order them from Mazda. Dclin on the Forum usually has some available for sale.

Anyone have contacts in Japan to get stock J-spec replacements?

I recently bought a pair of the Mazdatrix mats and the fit and finish is great. Tan color matches my interior perfectly. The drivers side does have the grommet and the backs of both have those nice plastic teeth that keep them from scooting; no foam backing.
