fixing the gas lid on FD...

Bought the cable and the part with the rubber stops/latch and have woud like some help on fixing the gas lid mechanism...man pisses me off the lid flopping about.

Do you have a factory service manual? DL one or buy it if you don't already have it. I'd reccomend buying one. Either way, it ought to give you the help you need.
