Fixed all the Rattles and squeaks
IIRC lots of OEM vehicles come with this material in these instances.
Congrats on the 10.9 =)
The OEM R1 spoiler does.

I plan on installing it on the back side of the door plastics. Mine are quite noisy on rough streets.
Bumping this back up.
Anyone have any pics of the spots they used the felt on? I'm considering using felt in between the hatch plastics and the hatch, the door panels and the seams between the rear bins/rear quarters/divider. Also, I see that McMaster has something similar for about 1/3 the cost.

Nice info, thanks for finding this older post. Recently I went through my wife's 2011 Saab 9-3, that car had terrible squeaks from various places. I used black electrical tape as the insulator and that worked great but I would have bought felt if I had known about it. My only hesitation with the tint shop product is the cost, but it could very well be worth it for what it is doing and if it lasts.
Took my door panels apart the other day. Used silicone adhesive, felt tape, along with tightening of all the screws in this 23 year old car to get the door panels rattle and squeek free.
Red circle = places where I put silicone adhesive. That helped the screws tightened up more to minimize play/squeak.
Blue arrow = where I put felt tape. The problem areas are the places where the plastic trim anchor inserts into the door panel foam. Due to age that **** doesn't fit as snug as before. putting felt tape around the plastic trim anchors fills the space and minimize movement. Felt surface also reduces friction noise.
You can also see that I put tape in places where the door pull cup/handle inserts into the door and makes contact. This is the door pull handle/cup I used. 93-95 RX-7 FD3S INTERIOR DOOR PULL HANDLES: Rotary13B1.com
After doing all that my door does not sqeak at all. YMMV!
