Unhappy Fix or trash? -- Broken secondary injector connector

Just got my injectors back from Witch hunter. Installed them and realized that the tab to keep the harness on is broken off. Any advice? I'm guessing the whole thing will have to be replaced?

The part on the injector is broken, or on the wiring harness?

Might just be worth ziptie-ing the connector on or something. A little ghetto, but since you just got 'em cleaned...

If the connector on the harness is the culprit, they're not hard to find. I got some from a Miata at a junkyard once .

Sorry, I was being unclear. The tab on the injector irself has broken off. I thought about zip tieing but I'm afraid the zipties may fall apart under the heat.

edit: Man... zip ties keep our cars from falling apart lol

One trick I've seen done that's a bit permanent - super glue the connector to the injector. Ghetto, yes, but it'll get some more life out of that injector, and that sucker won't be coming off .

Perhaps a dab of E6000 silicone? I've used them on bolts to prevent backout. It's also non-permanent. You can peel the stuff when needed. It's good up to 150F. Hopefully that's enough.

Ohh I think I prefer that to the crazy glue idea! Maybe that, a couple zip ties, and some self sealing silicone wrap would do the trick. Thanks guys!

I, personally, would just find a used injector and then get it cleaned/balanced. The fuel system is definitely something you don't want to half-**** if you don't have to....

Yeah thats true... I did go through the trouble of replacing hoses and replacing all the fuel O rings, insulators, fpd (Trying to do things the correct way). This just sucks because its a stupid little tab--I guess I should just suck it up and buy a new / good used one.
