Question First rebuild

Im rebuilding my 94rx7 motor... its bonestock. Wondering is there any precautions i should take before i begin the teardown?? Thx in advance yo.

study your manual well, and do EVERYTHING to spec. no IFs, ANDs, or BUTs.

Unless you are very mechanically inclined, take it to a rotary shop. Your chances of rebuilding the engine correctly and getting everything back in the bay correctly with zero problems are pretty slim. If you bring a shop your half-started work, they usually end up charging you more, so it's best to bring them the car from the beginning.

This isn't going to end up good. Take it to a shop; Aside from the fact that you don't have the experience, there are plenty of specialized tools that are needed to do a rebuild that I'm pretty sure you don't have.
