The lower the number the closer they are to white. the Higher the number the more purpleish they get
4000kwhite<--------->8000kBlue/purple
Stock Fd bulbs are H4
Hella, Osram, and Phillips are all good brands

Good luck and enjoy.

phil actually youu're right.... i have both 4300k and 6000k on my car (43 on my parking light and 60 on my headlights) and the 4300k overpowers the 6000k to the point that i dont even notice the blue light. its bright but your eyes arent meant to see blue...although they are very nice to look at if you're another driver

I have a CATZ 4300K Rising White HID system on my car and it's incredible. If you guys want to learn more about HID's, check out the forums on http://www.hidforum.com/ there's some real informative stuff. Also, there's no need to wrap the ballasts like that; they're not hurt by water.

If you're intrested in a place that sells the CATZ system that isn't ebay, check out http://visualdynamics.ca/

I was thinking ....the FD headlights seem underpar for the car considering it was made in japan till '01 right? Did the newer FD's in japan use the same setups? I'm just thinking most cars made 2000+ have a fancier style headlight..just a thought..

Many of the things people do to their car are illegal. But are you going to run up to a police officer and point out every illegal thing you have done?
