finally on the road

So some of you may know that I've had the dreaded gauge cluster issue and the cause of the problem was leaking capacitors.. upon removing the cluster the hood went into pieces.. took me awhile to source the parts.. thanks to Jim/toby I was able to source the items.. so driving it I realize how dead my shocks were so its time to look upgrading suspension to coilovers.. I have experience with BC/Swift springs on the Nsx and loved the way it handles stock like and im looking into getting those..

1. looking thru the vendor section I didn't really get a good idea of whom which to contact who would have the best pricing since I didn't see any advertisements.. who would you guys recommend?

2. my coolant light/beep comes on every now and then but the engine temp stays mid way or below? and searching thru the forum of which type to use it seems to be no concrete manufacture to choose.. should I stick to Mazda coolant? I haven't had a chance to ck to see whats in it now..

3. fuel gauge stays empty.. so I have my stock cluster and purchased a used Jdm cluster both fuel gauge shows E .. checked the ground connection onto of the fuel tank and a new terminal was installed also mentioned that new pump/filter/sender is installed but did not fix the iusse..

* I would check your level. It is possible for it to run ok and be a little low. You can top it off with any quality coolant. Just make sure it is mixed at whatever % you want. Some coolant is premixed.

* are you sure your float isn't stuck?

I've used Peak for many years without issue. They have a specially formulated coolant that works on 1990+ Mazda or a generic green.

Best to check the workshop manual or electrical troubleshooting manual for proper diagnosis. Both can be downloaded from online sources for free.
