After reviewing all of the very informative threads on troubleshooting/fixing odometer issues I am at a point where I need to ask for help - my odometer lights every available space.
. Backstory - car sat for 10 years, upon reassembly odometer didn't work (blank). Pulled board and examined closely, could not find anything wrong. Put it back together and found an under dash connector was not connected. Put power to it and odometer worked (until the next key on cycle when it stopped working - blank again). Pulled board and found that capacitor C3 had leaked electrolyte onto the board (onto ZD4, 5 & 7). Cleaned up the board with alcohol, replaced only C3 (w Digi-Key part number 493-1890-ND), put it all back together (as the board showed no other signs of a problem) and it worked. A couple of key cycles later (which is months of time as car still not ready for the street) and no odometer (blank). Replaced capacitors C1, C2, C4, C6, C11, C12 & C13, put it back together and I get what is shown in the picture. Verified all cap values with those indicated in the components only thread, verified caps were installed in correct orientation and that is where I am currently at. Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions on what to do next? No other components show any visible problems, checked traces with backlight approach (they all look good).
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
