Here's a black FD w/ Mazdaspeed front though, since you said you like those too.

I'll stop thread hi-jacking now. Sorry Rick.

Gordon, the rings are almost a polish look but they are advertized as silver. No worries about my body kits ideas. The only reason why I don't like the OEM bumper it is because the opening for the radiator is very small and where I live it gets in the 120s during the summer and I'm a bit worried about that. If I do upgrade the look of the car it will be OEM with either 99 spec or GTC bumper. I really like this look but between the front bumper, lights, paint it is a lot of money and I would have to get the RE lights. I'm very **** when it come to spending money because I like it to go far. I photoshoped shiftyRX7 car to black so I could get an idea of what it would look like, but this is just food for thoughts.

So, Mazdaspeed front, RE-lights, APEX-i side-skirts?, possibly rolled fenders/fender-flares, and CCW's?

Sounds good to me, Rick.

The PS'd pic looks good.

Interesting mirrors too.

Gordon,

Changing the front bumper on the car is really a very very low priority. My next big purcase is going to be JDM Recaro seats (yes, said I wasn't going to get them but they can't be in beat comfort and adjustability), upgraded oil coolers and water/meth injection.

Gordon, the MS bumper you're referring to is known as the GT-C if my memory serves me.

edit: yup, gt-c or gt-concept

Got my steering wheel today. It needs to be clean really bad but that's easy. I found some one that can make me a horn button with the Mazda emblem so I'm going to change that eventually.

It came with some goodies. I had to make sure Tony (87GTR) didn't send me a Japanese Midget in the box.

Interior all cleaned and put together. Next thing are seats. I want the JDM Recaro in black but at $3200 for a set of used seat +$1200 shipping, I still skeptical about it.

Love those gauges! Is that a Millenia CD player? I've been looking to get one of those double deck player, is there any AUX input in the back of it?

It is a Miata unit. I got mine in Ebay. If you get one, let me know because I got an extra harness for the radio that makes it plug and play. If you have a Bose unit then you can make one. There is a way to add one to this but I haven't really bother to try. Also there is a guy in Ebay that sells them with the Aux mod already done.

I know I need to fix the center grill. It has a hole in the middle where some one tried to mount something. It keep forgetting to find a replacement.

On the first interior picture it was dirty. The steering wheel had some crud on it and the protective fill over the Momo logo. I had wires all over the carpets and the seat. The second pic is after the wife spent the hole morning wiping down EVERYTHING. I'm very **** about keeping my cars clean. I ran out of my soap and I rather wait till I get more than use a generic brand out of Auto Zone. The type of soap actually makes a huge difference on the way the paint shines. So my car went without a week of getting washed.
