My 93 is in for a new engine after the coolant seal let go. Ahhh!!!

Hopefully, I get it today, its getting a brand new engine (not a reman) and a new clutch.

And the car only has 39K miles on it.

But Ray Crowe is da man, he set me, and since I'm a local, he did a little better than usual.

Where exactly do you plan to get a "new" motor at? All engines, including those from mazda, are rebuilds with some used part content. It'd cost 4 or 5 grand to build a block from all new parts, even stock.

Ray has from time to time sold "new" engines. These are remans built from all new parts.
When I got mine years ago, it cost $4000 ver. $2000 for a reman.

If you were to build a motor new from parts purchased seperatly from a dealer it would probably cost more than 6K. E shafts, housings, rotors and seals add up quick.

IT was to my understanding there were to be no more of those "new" japan built REW engines coming over here...at least, in announced form.
