little Mazda wanna-bes on this forum amaze me....if you are tracking your car, have at it

Yeah, plastic is for wanna-bes. By your logic, I should also pitch the brake ducts and entire bumper cover. You're all alone, and for good reason.

For the record, I just picked up a new 93 r1 lip for $168 from malloy, how much do the 99's sell for?

The forum member "soru81" had done this to his bumper and it looked great. But unfortunately, the pictures are no longer online.

Did it reduce acne too? How did you measure these changes?

Many people use the logic that "since Mazda engineers designed it, they had a reason for it" to back up their own beliefs.

So I can also use that same logit that MAZDA WANTED our engines to fail due to:
inadequate cooling system, too small of an IC; cheap plastic AST, an air intake that pulled air from the IC at low speeds, and emergency cooling fans that did not come on until the water temp was within 20 degrees of housing warpage.

Yep, those engineers ALWAYS know what they are doing. Should I go on and mention more of their perfect designs.

The RX-7 as a whole is a great car, but Mazda did rush it into production with many mistakes.

Yep, you got me. It has nothing at all to do with violating my sense of aesthetics. :D

Well, at least you could have painted them black, or cut some pieces of toilet paper tube to go around them... :p:

Actually, they'll be getting annodized to black along with a few other items over the winter. :)

Cool. I still like the toilet paper tube idea, though. You could spray paint them gold. :)

My post was in specific reference to the R1/R2 lip and "FD from R1's" "perceived knowledge". Now what relevance do the shortcomings of the cooling system have to do with either of the two?

Don't waste your time Mahjik. I tried this last year and they didn't hold up in the rainy season ;)....maybe had I used a oil based metal-flake gold paint?????...
