Hey man looks good!

I didn't notice this post until today. You will notice a huge difference when you put on an IC and Intake.

Just looking over the graphs, it looks like tuning gained 20 hp up high but you lost 20 hp and 50 ft lbs of torque down low.

Yepz..I noticed that. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

The excitement has worn off now, and now I'm really looking at what I gained and lost.

The power delivery feels more linear, more smoother..but I can definetly tell I have less down low. I can tell the difference for sure when I drop the boost to 10PSI. Right now, I'm rolling around at 12, so it's not noticeable too much when i get on it.

I dunno, is that alright? I guess it could be considered a good thing for a daily driver, but for someone who's looking for power?

If you were drag racing you'd probably turn a better time with more top end.

If you are autocrossing I think that more bottom end will help you out. Same goes for the street.

You decide which you like more.

I'll give you a call in a bit...

Drivetrain loss is usually 15-17%.

I was going to have Ralph do some tuning on my FD, but the boost creep is so bad. Anything above 5.5k in 3rd gear and I'm looking at 15+psi. Not good. I'm totally bumbed out about it. To think, I had to wastegate bored out to 1.24", and have the profec B set for overboost, and I have to keep the profec off.

I guess my biggest complaint is the thought of having to put some restriction in my exaust to control boost creep. CJ

I'm running a downpipe, mid pipe, cat back, m2 intake, efini y-pipe, spyfish intercooler (m2 medium), power fc, and the turbos non-seq. Removed the double throttle, and everything else associated with going non-seq. Last time I had it at a dyno day, it put down 295ish rwhp@13psi. But my times/mph at the track suggest more like 330ish rwhp. And that was with a stock cat back! Since installing the n1 dual tip exaust, my boost is pretty much uncontrolable. O-well, hopefully by end of summer it'll be time to with a t04s. CJ

Well..that would definetly explain all that crap that Ralph was talking about, where your actual results will differ in real life, than on the dyno.

Have you possibly tried an exhaust with a little bit more restriction..like a Racing Beat? That would help wouldn't it, without having to sacrifice power?

I could throw something else on their but for my future plans, I'd like to have an exaust system that is extremely free flowing. I'm hoping the silencers will eliminate some of it.

I guess when it rains it poors when you own a FD. Yesterday I was passing a semi truck, I nailed second gear and the clutch did'nt seem to be as positive when engaging. Seems like its starting to slip a bit. 47k miles on the stock clutch. I guess I should have guessed it was getting close. CJ

Hey Arch, could you please e-mail a little more clearer pictures to me, to see how our cars stack up? My e-mail is blackrx7@aol.com. Thanks, CJ

Sure, man...I"m not exactly modded very much. I just spent alotta money getting a really strong foundation. I hope to be making some serious power down the road (within the year if I get my way.).

And actually..I do have links to all of my modifications and the progress of them in my signature. Take a look at them...if you'd like more pics..give me a yell and I'll send you some high-rez.

Hey CJ, I had the same problem back when I did the non-sequential conversion. There is a pre-control valve that you have to almost completely close off in order not to boost creep. I boost creeped like crazybefore rstricting this line.

When do you plan to get your car dyno'd? My brother is going in a couple weeks and maybe we could get a price break. I'm planning on taking my 300ZX Twin Turbo also.

I dunno when. I'm suppose to call the first part of this next week to set up a time. I called last week but he said that he was to booked up at the moment.

My Dad going to take his big block ford up there to do some tuning on, and my brothers taking his 95 supercharged stang up there, and If I can get the boost issue under control my FD. If not, I'll take my FC to see if I've made anymore power. I don't know if there will be anymore room, but if there is I'll let you know. CJ

Is your brothers car going yet?

we just got all his parts put on and it looks like a whole different car now. He has to retune it cause of the FMIC he just got. It put down 461rwhp and we're probably shooting for 475rwhp since the FMIC is about 3X bigger than the SMIC that was on there. But yeah, it's up

My brothers mustang puts my FD to shame. I can't compete against a car thats throwing down some 129mph trap speeds in the 1/4. My dads big block is'nt a race in the chassis that he has it in. I mean, it makes good power, but he has it in a 1966 3/4 ton pickup that wieghts a little over 5,000lbs. He's ran a best of 13.1@101. Not bad, but he's just packing around way to much weight. CJ
