Just put it in sat oct 9 and we took it to houston tonight (175 mi round trip) for the houston club meeting. 16" vac at idle. Price would have been cheaper but we replaced all of the injector bleed sockets and some new studs/nuts for the exhaust. We have boosted to 10 lbs and she runs hard. The map on the power fc had to be restored to base and he has an appointment to get it tuned by Steve Kahn Fri. He's hoping to get 16lbs of boost out of the stock twins with non seq..

VERY good feeling to buid a rotary engine and have it start on the first crank and haul a$$!!
I didn't think you could/should reuse apex seals Also, 16lbs of boost on stock twins? Isn't that pushing the twins far beyond their reliability?

depending on the mileage, you can. Also depends on if they were detonated on.

At 16 psi, you will shorten the lifespan of your stock twins dramatically.

The apex seals are 3mm and there was nothing wrong with them. I indexed the rotors and reinserted them into the same location. He has been boosting at 14.5lbs (before rebuild with collapsed apex seal springs) on the setup for a while and he is supposed to get a single setup this winter anyway.

I personally ran 18-19psi and the twins(non-seq) lasted much longer then everyones opinions !!!! I did break the shaft once trying 20psi !!!!d the limit

I would recommend 17 psi being the limit for them to last....I ran them at 17psi for over a year before cranking it up.

For those non-believers check out the following videos.....
I guess I proved a few of you wrong.

John Duarte's car (Boostn7) is not exactly your typical FD. Go ahead and run 16-17 psi on stock twins on the street, and see that happens to your motor and turbos
