Artguy,
I am getting new turbos soon and I'm considering either the 99 Jspec or the M2 BB. My concern with the M2 is the problem with leaking oil. Do they have that solved now?
thanks,
Damian

thanks guys....
m2 has supposedly found a solution to the smoking turbos...a restrictor pill that neither captn bill or I have yet to see..my car smokes pretty good on startup about thirty percent worse than stock morning startup....m2 covered the labor to get the pill installed once they get them in. it simply took too long to get it all together.
I will let you know if I like them once I break in the motor.
rotary reliablity and racing did a nice job on the motor...got a great price too.
supercharged C5 soon....soon....soon
I cant wait.

The restricted oil to the BB turbos is supposed to allow them to spool up as fast as they should, isn't it?

word to your *****
haha
the restrictor pill simply is used to cut the amount of oil flowing to those turbos as a lubricant....the ball bearing set needs much less oil than the sleeve bearing stock set. how much less I do not know (or I would jet the thing myself). the excess oil simply burns off. I do not know if it affects spoolup time....I suppose it could.
right now too much flows and they smoke two packs a day. ...Id prefer if they smoked a couple cloves instead. M2 however is taking their sweet time getting me my missing piece...soon I hope.
Ill keep you informed...Im very interested to see how these turbos perform after I spend some time with the dyno.
