I'm hoping someone else will be able to answer this question: Is it just me or do those headlights stick up a LOT from the bumper/hood? I actually had C-west headlights (original) installed on my car awhile back and I'm pretty sure they didn't stick up like that. I can't determine if it was cuz of my non-stock front-end and hood that the lights flowed better or is it cuz of his headlights?

Are they original C-west headlights or replicated ones? Car looks great otherwise. I really like the clean look of the engine bay.

they do stick out a bit, which isn't reall a problem.... but don't the newer ones have a better fit than the older ones? what about light output?

the wheels look good, i would have gone for the 99 front as well...

Not a fan of those clear bumper lights, looks cheesy. Hey, what size intercooler pipes are you using? I have a pretty big intercooler also and will need to run the pipes under my headlights. I was wondering what to do with the battery, like your set up. Car looks nice.

3" and 2 1/2" pipes as for the battery u can do like most of the guys do is install it in the trunk or back seat bins, I plan to put an optima in the passenger bin soon, I dont trust the pc680 to much I almost killed/drained it twice luckily I have a bat charger

Cool. I was just wondering what's going on because my fit with those lights was a little better. Anyways, still very nice.

Great! I have 2.5 pipes, silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps already. I guess I will keep them and forget about the other set up I had in mind. I don't want to cut my bins so, I will turn by battery the way you did.

I had real C-west light on my car. THey didn't stick out nearly as far as that. And the smaller of the two lights wasn't crome. Maybe I had a differnt version? I'm positive they were authentic.

Nice car too

Question:

What parts are required to do single turbo conversion?
For example, if I go with Apexi single turbo kit, PFC, Intercooler + radiator, fuel pump, what other stuff are needed?
New fuel rail? Fuel injector? Is it possible to run it without BOV? Or perhaps a plumb back BOV?

How loud is it from say...3"catback with DP?

How hard was it to do the manual conversion?

What are the required parts to do the manual conversion apart from ECU(PFC) and clutch pedal?

Many thanks in advance

Pretty nice, but as long as you own an FD I don't think you'll ever be done. :-P

for the single turbo conversion you of course will need the turbo, turbo manifold, injectors, fuel rails,BOV,U can buy the DP or make it like I did, larger IC, fittings, hoses, fuel pump,IC piping, filter, wastegate,u can piggy back it and get the PFC or U can go full stand alone haltech, microtech or whatever u prefer

as for the 3" exhaust with out a cat and and a DP&mid it is very loud

the tranny swap is not hard as it is obtaining the parts at least for me it took a while to find all the parts, to find a tranny in FL that lopez hasnt bought.
parts for the swap I put what I can remember but for the future use the search I dont mind answering but some of the guys around the boards would flame U

I have heard u can use the PFC instead of going stand alone ECU but I'm not sure I went stand alone. 5spd tranny & driveshaft (auto driveshaft not the same),5spd differential or keep the auto one just buy the companion flange, slave and master cylinder, lines for them, clutch & brake pedal, flywheel, clutch & pressure plate, pilot brg, throwout brg, if I missed or forgot anything guys feel free to add

Apex'i PFC is a stand alone. Completely replaces the stock ECU. Check out their website. I thought it was a piggyback at first, but I was wrong.

What stand alone did you use?
