Question figure this one out?!?! (re-amemiya lights)

okay, here goes...

I just installed my re-amemiya flush mount headlights and everything turned out awesome, except one small detail. when I turn on the lights, my low beams are high beams and my high beams are the low ones (did that make any sense at all?) let me clear this up a wee bit, when I go to turn on the lights, the high beams come on. Then when I turn on the high beams, my lows go on.

what is hooked up wrong? Has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks dudes.

Matt

just try swapping the light wires(power wires) It's been a while since I put them in but it sounds familiar. which wire color do you have going to what light? I'll compare with mine and let you know.. I also hate the lack of serious responses. "Dave"

Thanks big-dog......

I'll go switch up my wires and if that doesn't work out I'll post back.......you'd think a moderator would post something worth while

switch around the wires that you have quick-spliced into the headlight control harness. they are not color-coded, so it is easy to accidentally swap the high beams and low beams. the wires im talking about are not the power wires, they are the ones that come out from the ipf relay box that reads something like "ipf sports system" or some poorly japanese translated gibberish.

if that doesnt work, try venting the blowoff valve as a last resort. that will solve your problem for sure.
