fiber in blower motor

i was cleaning out all the dirt out of my blower motor and a whole bunch of mouse crap came out and this led me to think if the fiber stuff is suppose to be there or if the mouse moved it there it's kinda hard to explain but here is a pic.

Looks like fibrous insulation/padding material, I'd leave it be

All my stock carpeting has that stuff in/under it. Pretty sure it's the stock insulation

It looks like the stock insulation, but does it go there? or was it relocated by the rodent?

If it is loose, sort of randomly situated, and not well attached to the surface it's on, then it's probably a mouse nest. If it's firmly attached to the surface with some adhesive, then it probably belongs there. Just from looking at the photo, I'd say it's a mouse nest.

Lol. I'm pretty sure the mouse moved all of that there to block that hole and keep it warm. I have seen similar things done by chipmunks in my area.

lol, that is the outside air intake portion of your ventilation system. It pulls in air from all the way over on the drivers side of the car under the windshield wiper. The little guy apparently doesn't like outside air.
