Yeah nice pics, but the 7 owns the 8, i mean a 7 is a true sports car in every sense of the word, and the 8 well is more of the rich oldman wanna be a boyracer but like needs comfort or he/she will need hip replacement HAHAHA

Yeah man! what kind of dumb idiot thought it would be a good idea to have a front number plate, it totally ***** up the arodynamics and cooling, why dont we just strap a fridge to the front of the car for superior aerodynamics haha, the number plate should be at the back only. (my 5 cents)

For everyone who keeps comparing them, the 7 and 8 are DIFFERENT cars... the're not supposed to look the same or drive the same. They were designed for two different puposes. I love the FD for the sports car that it is, and I think the 8 is a hot car and of the nicer cars out there today for what it is. The two can't be directly compared...

I dont think its that much of a comparative thing but maybe a feeling that because there is a later model of the RX, it sort of feels like its going to be replaced, and if its going to be replaced, atleast let it be replaced with something better adn true to its bloodline of beeing the pure sports car. like take the bmw e30 m3, it was a great car, and even better and worthy of the title the bmw e36 m3 and now even beter than that the e46 worthy of wearing the m3 badge... u know what i mean , and well the rx8 isn't exactly the HOT! rotary twin turbo that the rx7 is, ... what yous thinks of that ?

Historically, when Mazda has changed the number (RX-7 to RX-8), it was for a different car but with a rotary engine. It's not the next generation 7.

It's like saying the RX-3 or RX-4 is the same as the 7. It's not.

Oh sorry i havent checked this thread in a little bit. Anyway, yeah those are just a few pics we shot off the other day. Not some of my favorites (of my car) but still nice.

I have a **** load of pictures of my car posted on my website http://www.giniro-oni.com if you want to check it out.

The Golf and Rx-8 aren't really in my 'crew', they are just friends of my brother.

Here is a shot of the people I usually ride around with:

(Right to Left: 98 Mustang GT, My FD, 95 Mustang GT, 2002 C5 Vette, 2002 Civic, 98 LS-1 Camaro)

A few other cars I usually ride with include; my friend and his 11-second Geo Storm wagon (was featured in a magazine a few months back), and my buddy with his 12 second Miata...

I have a friend with an FD around here, but he trashes it and rices it out so I dont hang with him.

It's like comparing Pamala Anderson to Opra.
Opra being the 7
