Most def. The 7 exudes sex appeal. The 8, well, um, it looks like Pikachu.

The RX-8 wheels are 18x8 +50 offset. They would be a direct swap, assuming Mazda didn't change the center-bore.

It really wouldn't be much of a performance upgrade, since you would be limited to 225/40 or 235/40 tires.

Nice pics Fujikuro!

if the 8 was about 7-8 inches less in the body so that the skirtline was at the same hieght as the 7 it would be perfect. I'd say lower the 8 some more but judging from the bottoms of both cars, the 8 is just thicker all around.

i still like the pic

some guy on ebay was selling RX-8 rims a while back and claimed they fit perfect on the FD because they had the same offset etc.

all i found were these so far:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2435277318

but anyway nice pics! and btw the 7 always looks better.

How can you even compare the 7 to the 8. The 7 has classic sports car lines with beauty and grace; the 8 just has a bunch of odd bulges and arcs.
It's like comparing Pamala Anderson to Opra.

The rx-8 looks nice but i can't say its going to take the 7's place for many moons!

But there is a rx-8 out there with like 700hp already and
its pretty spiffy!

Ha no way.
the 7 definetly owns the 8

The 8 just looks DORKY IMHO.

nice pics

It's funny how people scratch out their plates in pictures. I wonder what they do so that people on the road can't see their plate numbers....
