stainless steel is the way to go. I think the HKS is stainless steel, but it's just not polished, but I'm not sure so don't hold it against me.......or quote me, lol.

HKS is mild steel. That's why jet hot coating is so popular for them- they're cheap and they need it more than the stainless. Scrub is right though. That HKS is squashed at the top to fit the right drive cars in Japan since they have the steering column on the same side. I don't know if there will be any decrease in performance, but if you're not sure about a part in the future, you should probably search for information about it before you order.
