I've tried Redline synthetic in my tranny and differential. When I switched to NEO afterwards, there was a huge difference in how smoother it was to shift when the car is not warmed up. Neo synthetic gear oil is definitely far superior to Redline.

i give the feed hood a 10 not a 7 just my personal opinion
