FDs hadling abilities compared to an 2004 STI (Video)

The FD Rox!

I had a chance to go on a 330 mile drive through Arkansas on HWY 20...Pretty much like taking your car on a rollercoaster ride.

On the drive were 3 FDs and 1 STI...My buddy with the STI is a good driver and I was able to hang with him through all the corners...When I was in front at one time I was able to pull ahead a little...Granted I have a single currently with about 380 and he has a stock STI (intake only) but still!

Here's a little video we took of the drive. Kinda bumpy and shakey in parts but was really fun..

Our 10 year old (soon to be 11 yo) cars friggin rock!

Dave

VIDEO (18MB) 12 min long

That was sweet. Kinda bumpy in spots like you said but heh! That just makes me even more pissed at the local RX7 crew out here that will not even make it to the sunday meets i set up and meet eachother..They are all customers. They just can't get themselves to move on a sunday. To stoned!!

I can't wait to get back to the Madland for some real enthusiest meets Should be sometime in April

Nice roads that you guys were on too. Very fun and not to much traffic,..or maybe you just edited out all that. Thanks again was enjoyable. and good music tracks

Actually for a sunday it was not too busy..the idea is to do that road on a week day...Most of the edited parts are really shaky. A buds girlfrined did it on the FDs leather seats and was sliding all over the place.

reminds me of a drift episode of Hot Rod TV where they went to the Boundurant school in Phoenix. The were in a crown Vic and when he swapped direction the camera man almost ate the steering wheel with the lens Some armorall should help that situation out haha!! J/K

The movies kinda non-climatic. But either way, good one. The silver 7 with the r1 wing needs to replace his outside brake light btw. ha

Good choice on music (4 Strings rules). Nice video, I like how you couldnt even see the FD's for about 2 or 3 turns right around the end.

Yeah. it's actually a pretty old camera. But considering this was my GF's first time to use a vidoe recorder(let alone in a car on winding roads) the vid turned out pretty well. Props to Dave on editing most of the sloppy shots and adding music. Next time will be even better. Thanx to everyone for the compliments on the vid!

Cyan

The begining with the 3 FDs reminds me of a school or sharks or a pack of wolves surrounding a prey. Lol good stuff!
