FD3S Project Gizmo

Hey Guys,

Just thought I'd update everyone on my FD3S build. The car will be Ultra Sonic Blue Mica with black interior. We should have it out of the paint shop by early April, I'll update pictures here as things progress.

Let me know your thoughts.

Enjoy!
The Giz

This is how the car came to me upon initial purchase.

Block Sanding and getting prepped for primer. I'll have much higher quality pictures within the next couple days.

Shame I liked the IBM but this new color could be cool too.

Update

UPDATE:

Parts that arrived today.

New OEM 99 Spec Front Bumper
New OEM Headlight Lids
New OEM 99 Spec Front Chin Spoiler
New OEM Roof

We now have the blue mica paint and remaining body panels, the car should be ready for assembly and paint this weekend. We installed an OEM replacement roof since the previous top was dented. Again, I apologize for the quality of pictures, these are taken by the body shop via camera phone.

I'm still indecisive on the direction, so many options right now.

Finally got the car back from paint last week. The color is Ultrasonic Blue Mica from the Lexus IS-F.

I purchased a 99 spec front bumper and had the body shop shave the license plate mount and rear antenna.

This weekend I'll start reassembling the exterior this weekend. Looks for additional pictures to follow in the coming weeks. I absolutely love the pearl in this paint, it looks great in person.

Below are some pictures of the car when I picked it up from the seller. The previous owner bought the car from someone on this board but never finished the project.

Some of the progress pictures while at the body shop. The hood was replaced with a new OEM along with the roof panel.

Can you re-post the pictures from your first couple of posts. They aren't working for me and I'd really like to see them.

The pictures I posted below are from my previous posts. I don't know how to edit my previous pictures.
