FD3S LSD + Tranny ????
Hey guys..
I have read on this forum that the FD3S transmission
and Limited Slip Differential was good upto 500RWHP.
Is this true???
Because I have went to 1 NE forum meet.
and Heard of another NE forum meet.
Where 1 FD3S in both Events broke their.
Differentials.
I was wondering if FD3S have a chronic LSD
issue or not...
And is there anything that can be done to make sure
you dont rip your differential out. Or any SIGNS
that the Tranny or DIFF is about to GO..

I havent heard anything about the tranny but the diff is good for high horsepower..... but wheelhop is a killer. Seems like the tranny just dies from old age in most cases. If your worried I would get new bushings or a launch kit. Also preload the differential while launching(use the ebrake). I havent tried this yet but Im going to learn.
