Put it in savings towards the engine you're about to need.

Power FC and Fuel Pump to make sure it doesn't blow up running that full exhaust and non-sequential.

+1, get them second hand and try to get small bits and pieces like greddy elbow, spark plug wires etc. if there is any money left.

get a PFC, you will need that anyways if you are planning to go fast, you will need tunning.

What the heck does "true" twin turbo mean?

You have sequential twin turbos, or parallel twin-turbos, or non-sequential twin-turbos (modified stock)

Hope you're not running a full exhaust on the stock CPU.

I'd go through all the reliability mods, PFC and datalogit like mentioned, a wideband and a boost controller.

Probably meant non-sequential. I've heard that term used quite often.

find a secondhand PFC and datalogit, and a commander if possible, and then take a road trip to the closest rotary shop and get a good solid tune. A fuel pump and deleting the OMP would also be a good idea.

I have to laugh at anyone saying that non-sequential twins is "true" twins... considering the stock manifold acts a collector. the only theoretical way to merit "true" would be separate runners to separate turbos. But even then... the word true implies real, or with accuracy.... thus any setup that uses two identical turbos, no matter how plumbed... would technically and by definition be "true" twin turbos.

But as for the thread: get a powerfc and dataloggit. thats the best advice so far. you have enough mods that you will want to make sure you can give the engine enough fuel to avoid detonation.

As others have said, you need engine management. Get a Power FC. If you have not done anything to your fuel system, this needs be addressed.

As others have said... Get yourself a PFC and a tune, also may want to get an upgraded radiator and some boost control.

Also... if you think $1,000 is going to be able to cover a new engine or a "bigger" turbo kit than you've got a lot of research left to do...

Now if you are only boosting 10 psi without creeping or spiking, then your stock ECU is just fine. But the key term is 10 psi solid... Granted I didnt see a boost controller listed in your mods so its very likely that you are overboosting... kaboom lol...

You only have 1k so spend it wisely. Boost controller + A.I. should be at the top of your list. If you already have an EBC then geT A.I. a used PFC and save up for some tuning.

if there's only a few people you listen to, this is one of them. He makes his living off of rx7s and rotaries.

I wouldn't do a fuel upgrade without the power fc. Just get the power fc and a tune. Or save up and do everything at once ha
