FD vs new M5

Which would win on 55mph roll on? FD has intake,dp,mp,cb and power fc set to #12.5. M5 is stock.

I think i would...been talking alot of smack too!

You should beat him. Those mods alone are good for mid to high 12s times. Sure, things ARE different on the hwy, but you have better aerodynamics than him anyways.

With your mods it will be close....but make no mistake, the M5 is definitely not a slouch on the freeway. Make sure its a nice dry, cold night when you race. Good luck.

stock you would beat him hands down, furthermore, the M5 is a limited production vehicle. Good luck finding one waiting list is about 2 years, and most people that say they haev them, don't

what about a ferrari modena (sp)? i think there 1/4 is ~ 12.9.

No stock FD will beat a M5, IIRC the M5 is a 400hp monster. From a roll the weight of the FD (or lack of it) won't matter nearly as much as it would from a stop.

With mods, including a mp I'd thing the FD should at least hang with the M5 if not pull a little. Here in little ol' Eugene OR there are at least a couple M5's. I wouldn't mess with one.

I have that same setup and have walked a new M3 rather easily. Don't know which one is faster M3 or M5 but I'd imagine they're "close"

The M3 was a fast car for being a grocery getter I give you that. Definitely very fast.

A properly running FD with full exhaust, intake, and ecu will pull a M5 on a freeway but not destroy it. 12.5 psi is enough too. M5s pull around 109-110 mph traps and an FD with these mods are good for 110-112. It would be close but FD would win.
