FD Tranny Connectors
All, removing my FD engine for a rebuild. Other posts show four (4) connectors on the wiring harness on the tranny. However, after disconnecting the 4 plugs on my 95 MT, I see an additional set of wires. Any clue to where this goes and how to disconnect?
Thanks!

Here are the pictures of the wires circled in RED.
Thanks for your help!
All four connectors from the transmission plug "bus" have been disconnected and are in my left hand while taking these pics.

its REALLY hard to tell what's going on there....
if you unplugged 4 plugs and don't see any loose wires running from the trans anywhere else then your eyes may be playing tricks on you. that very will could be the wires from one of the sensors on the transmission

Assuming you have an early transmission, should be a 4 wire connector for 1-2 switch, 3 of, 2 wire connectors for neutral, speedo and reverse coming off the end of the emissions harness. There should actually be a pressed metal mounting plate on the lower side of the transmission where 3 of the 4 plugs mount.
That grey/black stripe(?) two wire thing may be some sort of accessory as it doesn't appear to be contained in the convoluted wrap. It's horrible for access, gingerly pulling it with somebody else watching might provide a clue to where the other end goes?

Issue solved. There was a black "wire organizer" on the top of the transmission that held the last wires from the wiring harness plus the other wire set that is still connected to the tranny. I'm attaching pics of the plastic bit, which was sitting on top of the tranny.
Thanks again for the help.
