FD Toe link Bushing Dimensions? Custom Delrin

Anyone ever cut custom delrin toe link bushings to fit the oe toe links? Anyone know the dimension: length, width, diameter, sleeve bore, etc? Can I reuse the oe metal sleeve?

Thanks!

Note, race class doesn't allow swapping entire link or using metal bushings.

I made some for the trailing links. I didn't waste my time with the stock toe links, cause I decided make my own using chromoly heim joints and 6061 tubing. If you want I could send you pics of them and a list of materials used.

Good work rxseven. No need for pics of the custom toe link, since I can't upgrade mine.

I notice that spherical bushings are used on many after links. This allows for multi-axial movement. Is this necessary? Does the link need this range of movement?

I saw this one member post an image of his bushings, similar to what I envision (cylindrical/barrel type). Toe links are towards the bottom of the picture:

The stock and aftermarket links both seem to allow for multi-axial movements:

Jimlab posted dimensions of all the bushings in the Suspension section for anyone that wanted to roll their own. I think it might be in the Suspension Archive section.

Yes, the stock bushings allows for sufficient articulation.

The main reason I made my own is the stock one are ugly and the aftermarket one's are way over priced and still ugly. Here's what I made.

bringing this back from the dead, trying to do what you did a few years ago.

did you end up using SAE parts and adapted them somehow? I shot you over a PM with some detailed questions, thanks!

I used 5/8 chromoly heim joints with 1/2 ends and then I used 3/8 high misalignment spacers that I drilled to 10 mm for the factory bolts. And I machined the aluminum tube on a lathe to get the tapered look.
